Short Recipe Description

Steamed sweet dumplings

INGREDIENTS
Jaggery slightly less than 1/2 cup
Grated coconut 1 cup
1/8th tsp nutmeg powder
1/8th tsp elaichi powder
Apura fresh mango spread 1 heaped tbsp
Saffron essence 2 drops
Gud essence 2_3 drops
Water 1 cup
Rice flour 1 cup
Salt to taste
Ghee 1 tsp
METHOD

Heat a pan. Add in gud. Stir well till gud melts. Add in grated coconut, nutmeg powder, elaichi powder, mango spread.cook it till it dries up. When cool add in the 2 essences. Cover and keep aside.
Take another pan. Add in 1 cup of water, salt ,ghee. Bring it to a boil. Add in the rice flour. Mix it well stirring till the water gets absorbed by the flour. Cover fr 5 min and keep aside. Knead the rice dough and make balls and keep

Assembling

Heat a steamer. Grease the plate. Take a dough ball and roll it into a disc with ur fingers and palm. Stuff it with the mango coconut mix and fold the edges over the filling and close the top like a cone. Similarly do all thw dough balls.place it in the steamer and steam for 10 min.
