INGREDIENTS
Water - 1 /2 cup Sugar - 2 tbsp Dry food yellow Color - 1 pinch Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp Milk - 1 cups(250 ml) Sugar - 3 tbsp or condensed milk - 2 tbsp Milk - 3 tbsp vanilla Custard Powder - 1 and1/2 tbsp. Corn Flour - 1 tbsp. Milk Malai or Amul fresh cream- 2 tbsp Fab oil soluble Vanilla essence -1/4 tsp Toastie/Rusk or square pieces of roated bread - 3 slices or 3 rusk Dessicated Coconut, Dryfruits chopped like pistachio, almond, cashews, Tutti frutt jaggery Molasses /Chocolate sauce for decoration |
METHOD
‣1) Place a saucepan on a gas stove medium flame, pour water and sugar, stir for 3 minutes and switch off the gas, add food colour and cardamom powder. allow it to cool.
‣2) Take milk in the pan and boil it for 5 minutes and add sugar and allow it to boil. In another bowl take a three-tablespoon full cool milk into this add custard powder and corn flour, mix well... (instead of sugar you can use condensed milk as mentioned in the ingredients list.)
‣3) Add this custard mixture into boiled milk, stir well for another 5 minutes till it becomes custardy.
‣4) Allow it to cool completely and add FAB oil-soluble vanilla essence, add nuts, tutti frutti, and other dry fruits of your choice.
Assembling
First pour the chocolate sauce using spoon around the wall of the jar or cups,then place the small pieces of rusk n soak with little sugar water. then add custard and nuts. Again one more layer of rusk and nuts, coconut, garnished with pistachios and tutti frutti, chocolate wafers used as a decoration.
