BAKERS QUINTESSENTIAL & SWEETSINCAKESNMORE

It was year 2000 when Pragati decided to leave the comfort of home in a small town and luxury of Army Background and ventured to craft her destiny in Delhi. The streak of independence and risk-taking attitude that she picked up in the early part of career stayed with her for long and good. Starting with technology industry she made her way through corporate ladder. She worked with corporate biggies like HCL Technologies , IBM , Commerce Bank ( in USA ) . After working for 10 years in the corporate world, feeling something amiss, she quit her job as Technical Lead in a Australian MNC and decided to follow her passion for baking, food & travelling. Being an avid traveler since childhood and traveled to most part of Globe before and after marriage. she was always intrigued by the fusion of ingredients and taste that defines the cuisine of different places. Baking was close to my heart and to sharpen my skill did a one year Diploma course from City and Guild London . All her classmates in Diploma class were young graduates and at times she felt out of place, but the lure of following her passion was too hard to resist. She completed the course with distinction & also Did Chocolate course from Cotèdor Belgium and is now certified Patisserie Chef & chocolatier , she went on implementing her skills and started a home based bakery “Sweet Sin”. “Sweet Sin” soon become a known name in Gurgaon home and corporate due to freshness and unique of her products. Creative creations from Pragati become talk of discussion social media. In parallel Pragati continued her passion for creating new dishes and sharing them in social media. Her followership in social media ( Instagram handle JUNOONI_ZENANI_PRAGATIJOSHI & Facebook ) grew and she became a sought-after influencer in the food circle of Delhi/NCR. The entrepreneur in Pragati did not stop just there. While operating Sweet Sin , Pragati realized that there is a big vacuum of place for baking supplies in Gurgaon. Most of the time she and her fellow bakers has to travel to Old Delhi to get basic stuff. Items were available online but they were steeply priced. Moreover many of young and budding bakers were constantly looking to upgrade their skills. A visionary who could sense this opportunity she Founded “Bakers Quintessential” . Bakers Quintessential (BQ) is a unique concept merging Retail outlet with Baking Studio in Scottish Mall Sohna Road sec 48. A place where people driven with common passion with Baking can find supplies, Equipments, moulds, packaging , Raw ingredients along with skill and helpful tips. Patrons visit BQ not just for the complete baking solution it brings , but also for creative classes and to discuss and get expert tips from her. The journey does not stop here , in future Pragati was to build BQ as a thriving brand and synonym to passion for baking.
