Short Recipe Description
Savoury fried Potato tape or Chakli

INGREDIENTS
Boiled potatoes 3 small 1 cup maida 1/2 cup rice flour 1/2 cup besan flour 1 tsp red chilli flakes 1 tsp ajwain crushed Salt to taste 1 tbsp butter Fab premium oil soluble green chilli essence 2 -3drops Apyura Natkhat Chatpat spread 1.5 tbsp Oil to deep fry |
METHOD
Boil potatoes and grind it into a fine paste adding about 1/4 cup water. Take all the 3 flours in a vessel. Add in the chilli flakes, salt, ajwain, butter, and essence and rub it with your fingers. Now add in the Apyura spread and just enough water and make a soft dough. Keep it aside covered.
Assembling
Take a chakli mould. Add in the plate of your choice. Grease the inside of the mould. Add in the dough.close and press out the dough into the hot oil.fry it on med heat till both sides turn golden brown.
Baker Tips/Notes
If you want it real spicy you could add in green chilli minced too
