INGREDIENTS
For tart
Butter 100 gm
Maida 150 gm
Powder sugar 75 gm
Feb Cardamom essence 2-3 drops
Water 1 tsp/ as required
For stuffing
Moong dal 1 cup
Water, for soaking
Ghee 1 cup
Water 2 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Khoya 1 cup
Cashew, chopped 5-10
Almond, chopped 5-10
Feb Rose essence ½ tsp
saffron few threads
Rose petals for garnish
Chironji for garnish
Golden dust colour
METHOD

For tart
All ingredients, mix it well make a dough, keep in fridge till then set.
After that shape in tart mold and set it again for 20-25 minutes in fridge.
Now preheat the otg at 180 degree for 5-6 minutes. Then bake tart at 180 degree for 15 minutes or till then golden brown.
For stuffing
1.Rinse the moong dal and soak for 2-3 hours.drain off the water and transfer to a blender. Blend to a slightly coarse paste adding water if required. Keep aside.
2. In a large kadai heat 1cup ghee and add in prepared moong dal paste and mix well. Keeping the flame on medium, mix until the moong dal absorbs the ghee.
3. Continue to cook breaking the lumps. Cook until the mixture turns crumble and grainy texture.around after 20-25 minutes, the mixture turns crisp.
Now add 2 cup water , few saffron. stir continuously, until the mixture absorbs all the water. At this time add rose essence. The mixture will start to hold shape leaving the kadai.
4.now add 1 cup sugar and mix well.
the sugar starts to melt and turns the mixture watery.
5.continue to cook on low flame breaking lumps in between.
cook until the mixture starts to separate the ghee
6.now add crumbled khoya and cook for 5-8 minutes only.
7. Finally add cashew, almond and ½ tsp . mix well.

Assembling

Coat chironji in golden dust colour, keep aside.
Take tart, fill stuffing, cover with khoya, topping with some almond, pistachio and rose petals. Bake again for 2-3 minutes only till melt the khoya.
Remove the tart from tart molds. Garnish with some dry fruits and golden dust chironji finish with some rose petals. Enjoy this rajasthani tart is so amazing in taste.
