INGREDIENTS
1/2cup wheat flour Salt to taste Water as per required. Knead a semi tight dough and cover it until further use. Stuffing: Paneer: 50gms Cabbage: 1/4th Capsicum:1/4th Salt as per taste Fab chilli essence: a drop Crumble paneer. Tomatoes 1 medium size Cabbage, capsicum 1/4th Kashmiri chilli powder Garam masala Salt as per taste 1/4tsp sugar Kasuri methi- 1/4th tsp Fab chilli essence few drops Oil: 1tbsp |
METHOD
Finely chop cabbage, capsicum. Saute it for 2 mins with very little oil.
Cool these veggies. Then add crumbled paneer, salt n fab chilli ess and mix well.
Make small balls from the prepared dough.
Roll it thin. Stuff it with the filling made and make potlis.
Steam them for 20 to 25 mins.
You can deep fry too. But steaming is a healthier option☺
Meanwhile prepare gravy or dip or sauce for momos.
In a pan take oil. When hot add jeera. Add cabbage, capsicum and saute it. Add finely chopped tomato and salt. Cook it for around 10 mins or till tomatoes are fully cooked.
Then add chilli powder, chilli essence, kasuri methi, sugar, garam masala and cook for 5 to 7 mins. Garnish with coriander leaves.
If you want as a gravy then add little water to make it thin.
If you want as a dip follow the exact recipe.
Serve the momos with this saauce/dip.
