Short Recipe Description

My recipie is a pudding which is infused with paan essence of fab flavours

INGREDIENTS
For paan flavour
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
2 tablespoon gulkand
1cardamom pod
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
3 cups of milk
1/4 cup of cornflour
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon rose water
Fab flavours paan essence
Green food colour (optional)
METHOD

For paan syrup
Soak fennel seeds and cardamom pod in water for 1 hr
After one hr put the fennel seeds , cardamom pod and gulkand in a blender and add 2 tablespoons of water in it and grind it .
Then in a large saucepan put sugar and 1/2 cup of water bring it to a boil and add the mixture that we have churned . In that saucepan add 1/2 teaspoon of paan essence
And boil that syrup till it gets thick .
And your paan syrup is ready.
For blancmange
In another saucepan pour 2 cups of milk and bring it to simmer .
In another bowl add 1 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of cornflour and mix it nicely soo that there are no lumps .
Now pour the cornflour and milk mixture in that hot milk and stir it continuously till its thickened. Now add the paan syrup that we have made . U can also add green food colour this is totally optional.
Now stir the mixture till it gets custard like consistency. And your blancmange is ready .
PREPERATION
Pour the mixture in cups let it cool in room temperature then put them in the refrigerator for around 5 to 6 hours.
And your paan blancmange is ready
Now garnish it with some pistachio powder and serve it chilled.
