Born and bought up in Meerut ..and in summer holidays Ven visit Meerut I regularly eating nankhatai..my mother use to bake them on coal or charcoal ovens ..
Ven ever I bake ..I feel touch of my Mom
Dat aroma..dat texture ..of cardomom.. saffron..and aroma of pure Desi ghee.. awesome..

INGREDIENTS
Maida..2cups
Besan..1cup
Suji..1/2cup
Baking soda..a pinch
Sugar..1 1/2 cup
Dalda or Desi ghee..1 1/2 cup
Choti elachi or cardomom..5to6 or cardomom... FAB Flavours
FAB Saffron flavours
METHOD

Heat ghee let it be cool
Add all dry ingredients.
Add ghee
Mix well
Rub mixture for 5minutes.
Make a Nice dough.
Keep in freezer for 10 minutes
Make a small balls.
Press it with thumb.
Preheat the oven.
Bake it .
