Short Recipe Description

My kiddos love Potatoes fries in any form, so even I when I was a kid. My Mumma used to make many items out of Potatoes.. So refresh old and new memories tried something really different and it turn out so good. My family just loving it. Hope you to like it.

INGREDIENTS
* Potatoes 4-5 medium size and oval in shape
* 2 tbsp corn starch
* 2 tbsp APF
* 1 tbsp Kashmiri lal Mirch powder
* 1/2 tsp chaat masala
* 1/4 dry mango powder
* Water to make paste
* 1/4 tsp salt
* Few drop of Fab Oil soluble Mint Essence
* Oil for frying
FOR SEASONING :
1/2 tsp cumin powder, roasted
1 tsp Kashmiri Lal Mirch powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp mixed herb
FOR DIP :
1/4 cup hung curd
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp mixed herb
1/2 tsp powder sugar
Pinch of salt
Two Drops of Fab oil soluble Mint Essence
Few drops of Green food colour
METHOD

1 Take one potato, insert the wooden skewer onto the bottom of the each potato and gently push it all the way thought the top. Work in a spiral motion from one side to the other. Hold a sharp knife at an angle and cut in opposite direction while turning the skewered potato, cutting all the way down to the skewer.
2 Gently fan out each potato down the length, until you have even gaps between the slices. Make all potatoes in similar way..
3 In a bowl combine APF, corn starch, chaat masala, Lal Mirch, dry mango, salt and make a thin paste with the help of water. Consistency should be thin, just enough to add a single coat on skewered potatoes.
4 Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
5 Coat one by one skewered potatoes in batter and fry them in oil till light golden and crisp.
6 Once done coat fried Tornado with all the ingredients mentioned under seasoning. In a plate mix all spices and just sprinkle over hot Minty Tornado Potatoes.
For Minty Dip:-
In a bowl take hung curd and add the ingredients mentioned under dip section and just mix together. Add some chili flakes as seasoning. Serve Immediately.
Serve Mint flavoured Potato Tornado with Minty Dip. Serve with smile and love !
