My second item fr my Mother's day meal was laccha parathas..i tried out both wheat and maida .In the maida one i roasted it with crushed karipatta and mint powder. In the wheat i added no karipatta mint powder ...to understand the flavour of this essence

INGREDIENTS
Take 2cups maida
2tbsp chiroti rawa
2tbsp butter
Salt to taste
2drops Fab Masala Bread essence
METHOD

Mix all with water and make a dough..keep it covered with a wet cloth fr about 15_20 min
Take the dough.add about 2_3 tbsp oil and knead it and divide it into 8 equal parts..make balls and keep in a vessel covered fr another 15 min.
Roll out each ball like a thin chapati spread oil on it and liberally sprinkle atta on it..Fold it like a fan first then curl the folded fan into a tight curl..Now the trick of rolling the paratha is moving the pin outwards instead of rolling over the whole roti.center to outwards till the roti spread out.press a little powder of crushed karipatta and mint powder into the roti and fry it on a hot tawa adding oil..
Once taken off tawa hold the paratha in a towel and give it a couple of crush in ur palm the flakes will open out
Tried the same with wheat..added the essence but no crushed leaves on top.the essence had its own flavouring..so u can try it both ways it works
