I have named rhis recipe as Faux Tiramisu as its a lazy man's solution to the real one.. u need a quick tiramisu then this is the one for you

INGREDIENTS
250 gms readymade sponge cake.vanilla or u cud bake one 250 ml whipping cream beaten to med soft peaks 3 heaped tbsp of Apura Coffee spread 1/2 tsp of Fab oil soluble whiskey essence for the soaking 4 drops of Fab premium oil soluble coffee essence for the soaking 1/2 cup of milk for soaking 1/2 tsp of coffee powder fr the soaking Cocoa powder fr dusting. If u like it bitter then use coffee powder fr dusting 1/2 tsp whiskey essence fr the whipped cream 4 drops of coffee essence fr the whipped cream |
METHOD
Whip the cream with both the essence added amd also the coffee spread..keep it in fridge till the time of assembling.
Assembling
Take a flat glass dish
Layer it with Cake slices. Soak the slices with milk in which both the essence amd coffee powder has been incorporated. Spread a layer of whipped cream which has been whipped up with the coffee spread and both the essence. Top it with another layer of cake slices .wet the slices real well with the remaining milk .spread out the remaining cream all over the cake slices. Sprinkle cocoa or coffee powder on top according to ur preference.keep it in fridge min 1 hr to chill.This gives time enough fr the whiskey essence to seep in..The longer u keep.the better the flavour.
Baker Tips/Notes
Keeping it over night will really enhance the flavours..I would suggest to bake your own sponge as the store ones are too sweet. But hey when u r in a hurry and need something sweet and cooling. This is it..Enjoy...
