used to love Gulab jamun and my mom used to make it and now my kids love and I make it... many Indian sweets have lot of memories and bonds connected from generations....
I made a eggless swiss roll cake with fab Kashmiri Saffron essence and stuffed it with gulab jamun. Also as I love fab flavours, I made text imprinted on the cake(though it dint turn out as expected). The aroma wafting from the cake is amazing with saffron essence.

INGREDIENTS
Maida 150gms
BP 1tsp
BS 1/4tsp
Salt a pinch
Curd 50ml
Sugar 100gms
Oil 50ml
Milk 50ml
Fab Kashmiri saffron essence
METHOD

Grease 6" *10" pan and put the baking paper and keep aside. Sieve maida n salt n keep aside. In another bowl whisk curd, sugar until well mixed, add in the baking powder n soda n mix n keep aside for 5mnts, curd will react with leaveners. After tht mix in oil, milk and essence. Lastly add the maida n gently mix in. Pour the batter in the sheet pan and bake for 20mnts in a 180deg preheated oven. (Preheating is 180deg for 10mnts)
Method for font or text imprint on roll cake
Take a printout of the text u want to imprint (always make a mirror image while taking printout, it helps in correct direction of text once u roll the cake) put the paper in the pan, on top put the baking paper n cello tape it and I used the same batter a small quantity of different color and piped as per the guide. After piping the text, take out the cello tape and remove the paper underneath carefully. Bake this first for 5mnts in the oven at 180deg preheated. Remove from the oven n pour the remaining batter and spread in the tin uniformly and bake for 20mnts
Each oven is different, so set timings accordingly.
