Short Recipe Description
These pillow soft doughnuts are filled with spices and glazed with biskut flavored chocolate ganache. These will make your whole house smell like Christmas.

INGREDIENTS
For doughnuts 250 gm All purpose flour 50 gm Sugar 7 gm Active dry yeast 50 ml Water 70 ml milk 1 tsp Mixed spice 5 gm Salt 1 no. egg 15 gm Butter ¼ tsp Fab Natural Extract Ginger For Ganache 70 gm Dark chocolate 70 gm Fresh cream 1 tbsp Apyura Biskut Premium Spread |
METHOD
For doughnuts
• Take a bowl, add sugar, active dry yeast, water, milk, mixed spice, salt, egg and Fab Natural Extract Ginger.
• Mix it till the sugar melts
• Add all purpose flour in it.
• Mix it well and knead it for 5-7 min.
• Add butter and knead it again for 3 min.
• Rest it for 45 min in a warm place.
• After 45 min give knock back and again rest for 30 min.
• Divide the dough into 8 equal parts of 60 gm each and role into seamless rounds.
• Place the shape of doughnuts on baking trays lined with parchment paper cut into 5"/12 cm.
• Loosely covered the trays with plastic wrap.
• Proof the doughnuts until they have doubled in size.
• Once the doughnuts have doubled in size, use a floured 3 cm cookie cutter to remove the centre of each doughnut.
• Carefully lower the doughnuts into the hot oil and fry them for about 1.5 min on each side.
• Remove them from oil and transfer to cooling rack.
For ganache
• Take finely chopped chocolate and place it in a bowl.
• Heat the cream.
• Pour hot cream directly and evenly over the chopped chocolate.
• Cover the whole bowl and let's sit for 2 min.
• Using a spatula, stir it slowly.
• Keep stirring until it is silky smooth.
• Add Apyura Biskut Premium Spread
• Mix it well.

• Dip each doughnut into ganache.
• Garnish it with candy eye balls, gems and cookies.
Baker Tips/Notes
Temperature of oil for frying should be medium, neither too high nor too low.
