Tamil weddings are solemnized with this sweet made with just two ingredients – whole milk and jaggery. It is part of the “seer” sent to the groom’s place. The most common or the commercial version of this sweet is made with sugar. But this one made with jaggery is authentic and classy. Jaggery gives a beautiful dark brown colour and curdles the thickened milk. It also plays a role in bringing out a grainy texture. Fab Dulche de leche Premium enhances the flavour of cooked milk.

Ingredients
Whole cream milk		- 1000 ml
Powdered Jaggery		- ½ cup
Fab Dulche de leche Premium	- few drops
Cashews and almonds roasted  - for garnishing
Method
  • - Keep stirring milk in a wide bottomed pan on medium flame.
  • - After sometime it will froth but keep stirring scrapping the sides.
  • - Reduce the flame if needed.
  • - The milk will start to thicken and appears like a slurry.
  • - It will bubble vigorously and start sticking to the pan.
  • - Add half a cup of powdered jaggery.
  • - Lower the flame and keep stirring till it becomes thick and stop when you get the sandy texture.
  • - Add Fab Dulche de leche Premium and stir.
  • - Decorate it with roasted cashews and almonds.
