Made chapati dough adding the essence salt. rested it fr 30 min. then rolled it out doing the fan method and pressed dried powders into it
2cups maida/ wheat
2 tbsp chiroti rawa
Fab masala bread essence
Dried karipatta amd mint leaves crushed
Make a dough of maida.chiroti rawa.salt.oil and Fab essence.knead it well.dip it in oil and keep aside fr 30 min.
Take a ball.roll it out like a thin chapati..apply oil liberally over it.sprinkle some maida over the oil and fold the chapati like a fan first then coil the fan in a round manner and tuck the final end under the dough..to roll the paratha..press the dough first with ur fingers then roll the pin from the centre of the dough to outwards.this way the layers will separate.
if v roll it like a chapati back and forth then the layers will blend and join.one the parathas r rolled out press dried mint and kari patta powder over the paratha and fry over a hot griddle.spread oil or butter ghee according to ur choice. If u want it to have a tandoori look u can place the cooked paratha over the fire fr a few seconds.then put ghee or butter over it.place the paratha over a kitchen towel in a hand and give it a light crush.the layers will open out
